The mixed use development, close to Strathclyde University and George Square, is situated in Glasgow's newest business and living quarter and is, according to Christie + Co, an opportunity to take advantage of future events in the Scottish city.
Kerr Young, associate director of Christie & Co said: “Collegelands provides a modern mix of commercial and residential space and is already acting as a catalyst for further regeneration projects, unlocking the development potential in the wider Glasgow area. The completed hotel will offer the operator prospects for excellent trading performance, particularly in light of the pending Commonwealth Games which Glasgow will host in 2014.”
Offices and student accommodation are already completed on site, while the next phase will see the hotel built after a year allowing it to open in the second half of 2013.
Christie & Co is inviting offers from operators for the sale of the turnkey facility or to enter into a lease on the finished hotel.
