Table linen supplier Richard Haworth has created a Great British collection for hotels and restaurants to celebrate the best of Britain in the run up to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the London 2012 Olympics.

With a red, white and blue colour scheme, the Signature Plus set consists of a Union Jack table cloth and four runners, with matching napkins, chair covers, bows and sashes also available.

“We wanted to create something truly unique for 2012 – a year which will celebrate British culture,” said Raj Ruia, managing director of Richard Haworth. “As operators of one of the UK’s last remaining cut and sew hemming floors, we’re extremely proud of our British manufacturing heritage.

“The Union Jack set will help hotels and restaurants create a stylish yet quintessentially English feel, while really encapsulating the country’s pride this year - we’re confident it will be a popular-seller in the run up to summer.”

Richard Haworth’s Signature Plus range, which is manufactured at Kearsley Mill, Lancashire, has been created using advanced textile technology. It features a plain weave fabric, which combines specially designed fibres with a soft-touch finish for a luxurious cotton-soft feel.

Signature Plus table linen is used by several of the country’s most-respected celebrity chefs, including Gary Rhodes and Marco Pierre White. It offers colour retention, minimal shrinkage, resistance to snags and high absorbency to save restaurants and hotels money.

All of the items in Richard Haworth’s Great British collection can be bought separately and used in other linen combinations in the future. For more information, visit www.richardhaworth.co.uk.
