Brian Connor, general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Chester
DoubleTree by Hilton Chester has appointed Brian Connor as its new general manager.
Hotel management company, Sanguine Hospitality recruited Connor to help drive the business forward and help position it as one of the north west's leading hotel, leisure and events venues.
Connor, 42, has more than 20 years' experience in the hospitality industry and joins from the 83-bedroom Holiday Inn, Ellesmere Port. In his new role, he will be responsible for the general running of the hotel and growing its conference, weddings and events business.
Speaking of his appointment, he said: "I'm a firm believer in always trying to stretch the boundaries of what can be achieved and producing hotels that people can enjoy and want to revisit again and again.
"The opportunity to work with Sanguine and manage DoubleTree by Hilton Chester, not to mention a Marco Pierre White restaurant, is fantastic. We're at a key time in our development and I'm looking forward to building on the hard work and dedication that has got us this far."
