As we celebrate the tenth year of the Worlds 50 Best Restaurant Awards, BigHospitality speaks to those both honoured by and involved in the awards to find out what impact, if any, winning a place on the list has on a restaurant.

In our latest audio, chefs and restaurateurs Heston Blumenthal of The Fat Duck and Shirley Spear of The Three Chimneys recall the moment they heard their restaurants had made the list and tell us what affect winning a place on the list has on their businesses.

Richard Vines, UK and Ireland panel chair of the Worlds 50 Best Academy also shares his thoughts on the impact the awards have had, not only on individual restaurants, but also on the global dining scene.
