Celebrated Indian restaurant Bukhara, formerly awarded the title as The Best Restaurant in Asia in The World's 50 Best Restaurants Awards, is coming to London with chef Manjit Gill opening a pop-up at the Sheraton Park Tower hotel.

Bukhara London will be open from 17 May for two weeks at The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts venue in Knightsbridge and will feature signature dishes from chef Manjit Gill. The venue will feature styling by jewellery designer and The Life Aquatic actor Waris Ahluwalia.

The New Delhi restaurant, located at the ITC Maurya hotel, was voted The Best Restaurant in Asia in the 2006 and 2007 World's 50 Best Restaurants list and also featured in the top 50 from 2002-2004 - it made the top 100 in 2012 reaching number 84 on the list​.

Among the dishes on the menu at Bukhara London will be Dal Bukhara, a combination of whole black lentils, tomatoes, ginger and garlic slow-cooked over coals for 18 hours.
