Galvin at Windows Bar has this week reopened on the 28th floor of The London Hilton Park Lane following an extensive £500,000 refurbishment.

Overseen by general manager of Galvin at Windows Restaurant and Bar manager Fred Sirieix, the bar has been completely re-modelled, with a new wine and cocktail list and menu of bar snacks.

“2012 is London’s year and Galvin at Windows Bar is at the pinnacle overlooking this vibrant metropolis,” said Sirieix.”We look forward to unveiling the new bar and to serving our guests in the sky.”

Drinks served at the new-look bar include six champagnes by the glass, starting at £13.25 for a glass of Pommery Brut Royal and reaching the heights of £1053.00 for a bottle of Louis Roederer Cristal Rosé 2000.

Head chef of the michelin-starred Galvin at Windows Restaurant, Andre Garrett, has created the menu of bar snacks, priced from £8.00. These include potted shrimp with a crab salad, avocado and confit lemon and a signature galvin burger with vanilla onions.

Sirieix has received some notable industry awards in recent years including Restaurant Personality of the Year 2011 at the National Restaurant Awards.
