Stocks are available in chicken and beef flavours while gravies come in chicken, beef and onion. Highgrove advises that chefs use two teaspoons of stock concentrate to produce half a litre of stock while it takes three teaspoons of the gravy product.
The super-concentrated products come in 250g tubs in an eight-case pack and can be kept at ambient temperatures.
Highgrove Fine Foods managing director Keith Collins said: “The food service industry is always striving to increase profits while still delivering great tasting food. For this reason we believe the taste, convenience and versatility of these premium stocks and gravy range will be welcomed by catering chefs.”
The products will boost Highgrove's existing range for foodservice, which includes fats, condiments and seasonings.
