Monin adds Black Forest gateau syrup to range
Launched at last month's Caffe Culture show, the Black Forest syrup tastes of chocolate and cherry, the two main flavour combinations in the world famous German cake which is made with the speciality liqueur Schwarzwalder Kirsch.
The syrup is available in 70cl bottles and has a shelf life of three years. The dark ruby-coloured syrup has been flavoured with dark chocolate and candied Morello cherries and is being promoted as a component for coffees, chocolate-based hot and cold drinks and cocktails.
Monin UK brand ambassador James Coston said: “Monin Black Forest syrup is a unique ingredient guaranteed to bring a rich, exquisite feel to all kinds of milk, latte, mochas, chocolate and after-dinner drinks."
