Hilton Hotels & Resorts has revealed final details of its 361-bedroom London Wembley Hotel next to Wembley Stadium which it is preparing to open next month.

The new-build has been constructed on a site directly opposite the national football stadium and is expected to open next month with reservations currently being taken from the July 20.

It is part of a larger set of developments to regenerate Wembley City and nearby old exhibition spaces with Brent Council leading implementation of a 'master plan' for the area.

Events market

Hilton Worldwide, which operates the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand, is expected to focus the new 281,650sq.ft venue on the exhibition and events market, marketing its close links to Wembley Arena.

Jack Nicholas, general manager, Hilton London Wembley, said: "Hilton London Wembley will be a key player in attracting back the much needed conference and events market to the area. With ample facilities to host events and meetings on any scale, Wembley is an attractive destination for business travellers, which is a hub for sport, comedy and music."

The hotel will feature 10 state-of-the-art meeting rooms, a business centre and boardroom, an executive lounge and 18 suites.

Modern British

Food and beverage offerings in the hotel will centre on The Association, a 280-cover modern British restaurant, and two bars. As well as the afternoon tea and evening cocktail bar, Icons, the ninth floor will feature Sky Bar 9 which will boast views over Wembley Way.

The hotel will also feature a health club and 24-hour gym and Nicholas explained that he hoped the upcoming London Designer Outlet and close links to the city centre and tourist destinations would help make the area, and the hotel, a destination in its own right.

It is "a landmark hotel at the heart of the revitalisation of Wembley which will play a pivotal role in turning the area into a leisure destination of choice,” he said.

"This is not only a significant hotel for the area of Wembley, which will attract millions of visitors from across the country and beyond but also fantastic gateway to the rest of London."

The July opening means Hilton Hotels & Resorts will operate more than 30 venues in London. Hilton Worldwide also controls the Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree by Hilton and Hampton Hotels brands.
