At the first ever British Hospitality Association (BHA) Summit earlier this month there was widespread discussion on what the industry and the Government should be doing to boost the hospitality sector - but what do the experts think?

From Visas to VAT and jobs to the Olympics, delegates from the hotel, restaurant and pub and bar sectors joined with their peers in tourism businesses to discuss ways to realise the wealth-creating potential of the UK hospitality industry.

BigHospitality caught up with a number of leading industry experts including Simon Vincent, area president Europe at Hilton Worldwide, Angela Brav, chief executive Europe at IHG, Patrick Dempsey, managing director of Whitbread Hotels & Restaurants, Thomas Dubaere, managing director for UK & Ireland at Accor and the chief executive of VisitBritain, Sandie Dawe.

We asked each of them to tell us what one change they would like to see made by Government or the industry which would most benefit the sector.
