Gordon Ramsay and Mary Portas hotel TV show on the hunt for hospitality jobseekers

As originally revealed on BigHospitality last month, Ramsay will helm the kitchen in the new series, with the working title Hotel Britannia, while Portas will take charge of front of house and the hotel rooms.
The pair are expected to mentor unemployed people looking to get a break in the hospitality industry by offering them roles during filming in various positions across the hotel - from reception to the hotel spa and from food-sourcing in the restaurant to bar work.
The profits from the hotel takings will go to employment charities and the participants will be helped to get permanent jobs in the industry once the cameras leave.
Optomen, which is producing the programme for Channel 4 and is also responsible for Mary, Queen of Shops and Kitchen Nightmares, said unemployed people of all ages and backgrounds were able to apply.
