Research carried out for Enotria by Wine Intelligence earlier this year found that the look and feel of a venue and its presentation of wine were hugely influential for consumers when choosing which one they wanted to drink and in how much they spent.
With this in mind, we want to reward the venues that put thought and effort into their wine presentation by giving them the chance to win a trip for two to the prestigious French Champagne house Champagne Jacquart this autumn simply by showing us a picture of their display.
Rhona Cullinane, on trade marketing manager at Enotria, said: "Good wine displays can reassure consumers that their choice of outlet has carefully selected the wine they are about to serve. This confidence will lead to consumers trading up on their choice of wine, away from house and default varietals, perhaps trying new styles and ultimately wines of higher margin.
"As wine presentation is an important area for customers, we are looking for some examples of best practice in this area, while also having some fun and generating a buzz and excitement about the wine category."
