For an undisclosed sum, the Hampshire-based company, founded in 2004, has purchased the privately-owned Couture business taking Host Contract Management's turnover to more than £20m.
"It was always our intention to grow Host and our aim is to get to £30m annualised turnover by the end of the year," Bill Toner, chief executive of Host Contract Management, said. Toner added that the first acquisition for the business would give the company more credibility and lead to further growth.
"Couture operates strong contracts, in interesting areas, but we feel Host can bring additional value with our focus on food quality, chef training and strong operational support. Our national sales team will also be concentrating on growing both brands by adding further contracts to the mix."
Host Contract Management takes on all eight of Couture's retail contracts including with the People’s Museum in Manchester, Liverpool Cathedral and Ogilvy & Mather in London’s Canary Wharf.
