Sarah Weir, commercial director, Barracuda Pub Group

The Barracuda Pub Group​ has appointed Sarah Weir​ as commercial director - a newly created role at the company. 

Weir, who joined Barracuda at the beginning of July, will have responsibility for category management and overall procurement across the 200-strong pub company.  She will also oversee the marketing, and food development functions of Barracuda Pub Group working closely with the operations function to execute the sales strategy required over the coming years.

“I’m excited to join Barracuda and to work with the team to help drive the business forward," she said. "There are a range of opportunities and challenges which we need to address, my immediate areas of focus surround getting to know my direct team and my new colleagues, reviewing our commercial positions across the whole breadth of our supplier base, and working towards supporting the best execution of our food and drink offers across the country.”
