Peter Wilson, head chef, Loch Lomond Arms Hotel
The new Loch Lomond Arms Hotel, located on the edge of Loch Lomond, has announced the appointment of its first head chef, Peter Wilson.
Wilson joins the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel after many successful years at the Brig o’ Doon House Hotel and Lochgreen House Hotel in Ayrshire. With more than 20 years experience, he gained his first head chef position at the age of 22 at the Hunting Tower in Perth, which is a two rosette hotel and restaurant.
“The hotel aims to offer the best west coast hospitality – a place where locals and visitors can relax and enjoy both the village and the idyllic surroundings in which it is situated," said Wilson. "The new design, layout and finish of the hotel will be reflected in my menu - I’ll be sourcing the finest and freshest local produce to deliver a Scottish menu with a modern and stylish twist.”
