Atul Kochhar to open restaurant at JW Marriott Marquis hotel in Dubai

Rang Mahal by Atul Kochhar will open on the fourth floor of the luxury hotel at the end of this year when the hotel, said to be the world's tallest, opens its doors for business.
The 167-cover restaurant is one of a number that will operate from within the Marquis and marks Kochhar's first foray into the Middle East.
He said: “Indian cooking has become a globally recognised and appreciated cuisine and so what better location to launch my latest venture than Dubai – an established culinary capital thanks to a hugely cosmopolitan population with adventurous taste buds."
Kochhar currently owns Benares in London and Ananda in Dublin. His Hampshire restaurant Vatika closed in September and is yet to be relocated.
