Foodservice poultry supplier Plusfood has expanded its frozen Hot ‘n’ Kickin’ range to include a chicken fillet covered in the crispy coating with a kick of chilli that has become a signature of the product range.

Product details:

The Hot ‘n’ Kickin’ chicken fillet is produced in Plusfood's European facility from breast meat which is flash fried, fully cooked and individually quick-frozen.

The product, which the company says is perfect for caterers looking to introduce a fresh and convenient menu option, is the latest addition to the brand's wide range which includes wings, dippers and steaks alongside recent additions goujons and 'Poppin' Chicken'.

The fillets, which are available as Halal, are free from artificial colours, flavours, preservatives and lactose and can be cooked from frozen in 4 minutes if deep frying at 180°C or oven baked for 20 minutes at 220°C.

Price can differ depending on size and type of order - contact the supplier direct on 01908 685008 for more information.

The product is available in a 2.7kg pack which contains approximately 30 fillets each weighing around 90g.

Why should you buy it?

A Plusfood spokesperson said: "Whether served traditionally for a main course stacked in a floury bun with fresh salad and creamy mayonnaise, or sliced inside a toasted panini with a fresh tomato relish for a lunchtime snack, customers will love the taste of the new Hot ‘n’ Kickin’ chicken fillets."

"No matter what the meal occasion, customers can enjoy a taste sensation that will make their tongues tingle!"

To mark the introduction of the chicken fillet to the range, Plusfood has refreshed its Hot ‘n’ Kickin’ point of sale (POS) offer to include posters, coasters, menu toppers, tent cards and an apron. All the items in the entire POS collection feature a flame-inspired design and are designed to inspire customers to try the products.

Bespoke packs for specific caterers' different requirements are available.
