The British Hospitality Association (BHA) will be giving its restaurant, hotel and pub members some tips on how they can join the campaign to reduce VAT to 5 per cent for the hospitality sector at a special workshop next week.

The VAT Campaign Workshop will take place at Calcot Manor in Gloucestershire on 8 November from 12pm to 3.30pm and will give attendees an introduction to the campaign strategy and tips on how to handle local media and lobby MPs and councillors in their areas.

"We are taking this campaign forward by building a network of members and other grassroots supporters across the country who are committed to lobbying MPs, local politicians and media in their region. With your positive support, we can put even more pressure on the Government to reduce VAT for the hospitality sector," said BHA deputy chief executive Martin Couchman.

Attendance is free, with lunch available at a special rate of £15 per person.

To attend call Philippa Brady at the BHA on 020 7404 7744 or email her at cuvyvccn.oenql@oun.bet.hx.
