Modern Japanese restaurant K10 Sushi is to open a second site in the City of London after acquiring the former Ping Pong unit in Broadgate.

The sushi operator has taken an assignment of the lease for the 5,400 sq.ft site at 3 Appold Street, which is the second Ping Pong restaurant to be acquired in the past five months after Truffle Hunting launched its eponymous first restaurant in Goodge Street.

Restaurant Property agency director David Rawlinson, who acted for K10 Sushi on the Broadgate deal, said: “K10 is a great fit for time-pressed City workers who want quick healthy food at a good value price point.”

With the current site situated on Copthall Avenue, K10 Sushi offers a selection of hot dishes including chicken, salmon or beef teriyaki, chicken or pork katsu curry, as well as a variety of sushi and sashimi sets, salads and home-made desserts.
