London-based brewer and pub operator Young's has this week opened it latest pub, the King's Head in Roehampton, with a menu focused on chicken.

The 40-cover venue, which also includes a 28-cover private dining area and an outside seating area, is a recent acquisition for Young's had has undergone a 'classic' re-design complete with vintage furniture.

The pub menu will have a special focus on poultry and chicken, tapping into the recent trend for chicken-heavy menus at hospitality businesses.

The menu will include the flagship King’s Board – a ‘beak to nose' board incorporating the many cuts and offal of chicken served in five different ways.

Patrick Dardis, Young’s retail director, said: "Our acquisition and investment in the renovation of the King’s Head illustrates our commitment to adding value to and growing our pub estate. King’s Head will offer a quality pub-dining venue giving the local community a place to enjoy a menu of excellent quality British, seasonal dishes, paired with an array of quality drinks all under one roof."
