The competition, which is aimed at catering college students, will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year and Nestlé Professional managing director Neil Stephens has promised 'exciting changes' to mark the occasion.
Teams of two students, one chef and one front-of-house, are being invited to enter the competition which will have its first heats at the Hospitality Show next January. This year, colleges are able to enter up to three teams who will get to test their skills to the full.
Mosimann urged teams to enter. “When I won this award, I was extremely honoured; it really motivated me to do even better. Young people are the lifeblood of the hospitality industry and those of us who are established have a responsibility to motivate and support the next generation and encourage them on a career path that we have found so inspiring and rewarding.”
