Suppliers, including Gram Commercial, Electrolux and Claremont Group Interiors have collectively donated £300k worth of equipment and services towards new hospitality and retail training and meeting centre Hospitality House.

The sponsorship agreements follow last week's announcement that the service training centre, set up by the Hospitality Guild and the National Skills Academy for Retail, has been given £500k of Government funding for development and means the project is now 80 per cent of the way towards becoming complete.

As part of the deal Gram Commercial will provide refrigerators and training worth £40k while Electrolux will add more to its existing contribution of kitchen equipment.

“We’ve also gained fantastic support from a range of other sponsors, including Claremont Group Interiors for the creation of the 3D fly-through and the fit out, Conti Espresso UK for the café area, and Heineken for the training bar," said the Hospitality Guild's executive director Suzy Jackson.

The new sponsors join Compass Group UK and Hilton Worldwide who invested in the project as founding members of the Guild which formed earlier this year.
