British restaurant group Bumpkin, which has three restaurants in London, has unveiled a new format for its Westfield Stratford City site, with the development of a new kitchen, bar and grill to appeal to a more time-conscious market.

Breakfast baps, salads, sandwiches and deli dishes have been added to the 170-cover restaurant’s all-day menu, which will continue to offer Bumpkin’s trademark pies, steaks and Sunday roasts.

The group’s managing director Tina Englishsaid: “Our restaurant in Westfield Stratford City still reflects the quirky, British and generous ethos of Bumpkin, however it now offers a wider choice of dishes at a variety of price points to appeal to shoppers looking for a light bite as well as evening destination diners.”

The Bumpkin brand consists of three restaurants in Notting Hill, South Kensington and Westfield Stratford City.

Earlier this year Matt Hermer, founder of the Ignite Group which owns the Bumpkin brand, revealed to BigHospitality that he plans to expand the concept to around 20 venues across the UK in the next five years.
