It became only the second InterContinental hotel in London and the first new-build in the capital for a number of years when, on 27 November, InterContinental Hotels Group opened the doors to a 256-bedroom property in Westminster.
BigHospitality was lucky enough to be invited to take a sneak peek at the InterContinental London Westminster on an exclusive video tour of the hotel with design features matching its political heartland location.
Fitted out with politically-themed artwork, an eight minute division bell and hidden meeting areas, the hotel's drinking hub, the Blue Boar Bar has been created with politicians in mind, while its British focus is expected to attract tourists too.
