Leading hospitality trade show Hotelympia will now take place in April
The organisers of Hotelympia have announced the event will now take place in April as opposed to February as part of a number of changes for 2014 which also see James Tanner appointed chef director for the culinary competition Salon Culinaire.

The trade show will next take place from 28 April to 1 May in a new four-day format for the event which will, next year, take place in one extended hall at London's ExCel centre without the central pathway that has been present in previous years.

“With a brand new look and a new date in the calendar, Hotelympia 2014 is set to unite the very best of catering equipment, food and drink, table top, design and technology, plus Salon Culinaire, under one roof," said Toby Wand, managing director at show organisers Fresh Montgomery. 

"The changes to the event overall have been implemented to further improve the experience for exhibitors and visitors alike, and encourage greater dwell times, while moving to a date later in the year will mean we can maximise the longer days to full business effect," he added.
