Byron and Browns head for Liverpool ONE
Situated on Paradise Place, the openings will mark Byron’s first restaurant in the North West and Brown Bar & Brasserie's second in the region but its first in Liverpool. They take Liverpool ONE’s F&B portfolio to 22 restaurants and cafes, in addition to 140 shops.
It is the 28th site for Byron, with the Gondola Holdings-owned hamburger chain taking a 3,894 sq.ft site which will cater for approximately 115 covers internally and 30 externally.
Commenting on what is Byron’s third site out of London, founder Tom Byng said: “As the starting point for our growth in the north of the country, Liverpool ONE is perfect. Byron will be in very good company.”
The neighboring 6,444 sq.ft unit will become site number 27 for Browns Bar & Brasserie, offering around 160 covers internally and 66 externally.
Liverpool ONE sales
The news follows a record-breaking Christmas for the Liverpool ONE development. Sales were up by 7 per cent over the Christmas period, compared to the same time last year, and 5 per cent for the year as a whole versus 2011.
Miles Dunnett, head of asset management for the Grosvenor Liverpool Fund, which manages the shopping centre, said: “Byron and Brown’s are fantastic additions to Liverpool ONE’s line-up of leading dining brands. They provide even more choice, enhance Liverpool ONE’s premium offer, and further increase its appeal for visitors living in the expanding outer catchment.”
Cushman and Wakefield and Tushingham Moore acted for Liverpool ONE on the two deals.
