Hannah McIntyre, a hospitality technology expert, has launched mylivehospitality - a cloud-based system which allows operators to view and control all aspects of their businesses in one place.

Product details:

The online business and profit tracker has been developed by McIntyre who managed and ran a number of hospitality businesses before founding mylivevision.com in 2011 and launching the hospitality version of the product which is set to 'revolutionise the industry' earlier this year.

The service is accessible not just in one place but, using the internet and cloud based technology, can be accessed anywhere in real-time allowing operators to immediately analyse all aspects of the business.

The service streamlines the financial reporting companies must complete and the developers of the technology believe many hospitality businesses check net or projected profitability on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis whereas mylivehospitality, which brings together cashing-up, staff and purchasing systems, allows operators to check profitability more regularly.

USP:

According to the product developers, mylivehospitality brings together all of the individual components of a hospitality business in one place - including sales, purchases, banking, staff and rotas and stock control - for the first time.

Price:

The cost of the product is covered with a monthly contract which starts at £75 per month for a single user at a single site.

Availability:

Available for single or multi-sites, mylivehospitality can be acquired online - contact the company directly for more information.

Why should you buy it?

Hannah McIntyre, owner and developer of the product, said: “mylivehospitality gives hospitality owners and managers key business information on a daily basis so that they can instantly track the impact of supplier price increases, over-staffing, food wastage or any other factor that impacts profitability.

"Managers need information at their finger-tips to make informed decisions. If a supplier’s prices increase and margins are suddenly slashed, the business needs a tool to see that instantly, not in four to six weeks, to enable changes to be made.

"This empowers hospitality owners and managers to ascertain, in real-time, if a new menu is making the money it was hoped or if a new staff training initiative has increased average spend per head as predicted," she said.
