Hosted by food writer and chef Gizzi Erskine, The Lab will launch on 25 April at London’s Tobacco Docks, with a star-studded line-up of World’s 50 Best chefs from the likes of Noma, currently top of the list, D.O.M (fourth) and Osteria Francescana (fifth) all on-board.

Flying the flag for the UK at The Lab will be Ashley Palmer-Watts, head chef at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, which was the highest of three English restaurants on the listlast year, placing ninth.
