TV production company Twenty Twenty has announced it is searching for entrepreneurs who are in the process of opening their first restaurant, pub or café for a new series which will follow their progress and provide them with guidance and advice.

The show, which will be fronted by a restaurateur-presenter who has opened five restaurants in the last three years, will be filmed over a number of months and will document the key stages of opening a hospitality business - from creating a menu and designing the venue to hiring staff, opening night and the first few weeks of trading.

A spokesperson for Twenty Twenty told BigHospitality: "We are looking for people who have firm ideas and ambitions of what they’d like to achieve. We want our presenter to work with people who have courage in their convictions and will share with us the advantages and pitfalls of becoming an independent restaurateur or publican for the first time."

Ideally, the six new businesses will be opening in July or August to allow the filming to fully chart the process and interested first time restaurateurs are asked to send an email to restaurant@twentytwenty.tv for more information.
