Social Eating House, Soho, London - 19 April
Two years after launching Pollen Street Social, chef Jason Atherton brought two new restaurants to the capital in the last month. The largest of the two was Social Eating House, a partnership with former Pollen Street Social head chef Paul Hood.
In a video interview with BigHospitality ahead of the launch, Atherton said he had chosen to open the 70-cover bistro-style restaurant complete with chef's table and separate bar in order to invest in Hood in the same way Gordon Ramsay invested in him earlier in his career.
Social Eating House opened on 19 April.
