Former Kopapa head chef Selin Kiazim has announced plans to host her first pop-up restaurant since quitting her job to pursue a dream to run her own restaurant.

Trinkets by Selin Kiazim will run at the Rooftop Cafe at The Exchange in London on 18 and 19 May and will be the chef's first chance to demonstrate her own style of food.

Taking inspiration from her Turkish Cypriot heritage and her love of communal eating, Kiazim's menu will feature a range of dishes designed to be shared such as BBQ quail glazed with oregano, sumac & palm sugar with minted caper dressing; Crispy lamb breast glazed with pomegranate sauce, yoghurt & herbs and Chilli roast cauliflower, Turkish pistachios, red onion & parsley.

Kiazim, a former BigHospitality Rising Star and National Chef of the Year finalist left Peter Gordon's London restaurant Kopapa at the end of March with plans to run a series of pop-ups and special events this year before setting up something more permanent.
