British restaurant group Bumpkin is sticking with its plans to expand to 20 venues across the UK within the next five years, having acquired a fourth restaurant in Chelsea which will open next month.

Set in a Georgian townhouse on Sydney Street, the 187-cover restaurant is spread over three floors and will feature a ‘Secret Garden’, a ‘Potting Shed’ bar and private dining room ‘The Botany Club’, which seats 30.

Tina English, managing director of Ignite Group which owns the Bumpkin brand, said: “It’s a great location and we’re confident that our traditional British menu and beautiful outdoor space will be a hit with both visitors and local residents.

“This is an exciting time for Bumpkin, with plans in the pipeline to expand to 20 venues across the UK within the next five years.”

Other Bumpkin sites are situated in Notting Hill, South Kensington and Westfield Stratford City.
