Grant McKenzie, general manager, Slaley Hall
De Vere Hotels and Resorts has appointed Grant McKenzie as general manager at Slaley Hall in the Northumberland Moorlands.
McKenzie will be developing the team across all aspects of Slaley Hall - including, golf, leisure, health and beauty and all of the food and beverage outlets. With a staff of 250 plus, McKenzie's previous management experience as general manager for Malmaison hotels in Leeds and Manchester will be imperative to the running of the hotel.
“Working with a great team to deliver great hospitality is what really motivates me," he said. "There really is no better feeling than seeing our guests leave relaxed and happy. Looking after our guests is really the end product, but the fun part is working together with so many passionate people to make it all happen."
