La Tasca completes turnaround following restructure

Chief executive Simon Wilkinson said a two year 'radical overhaul' of the business, which has included the launch of an 'unbranded' model and a focus on improving food hygiene ratings had been 'good news for the business'.
He said: “Every member of the La Tasca family has contributed to this very quick turnaround of the business. When you look at other companies that have had a radical turnaround within the casual dining market the norm for traction is around three years so to achieve this in just over two years is a massive achievement for the team.
"These are very exciting times for the business, rather than closing down sites we are now opening new restaurants and rubbing shoulders next door to competitors; and taking market share.”
This week sees the launch of the brand’s 'stage two' design at the Trafford Centre which is set to start a 'comprehensive roll-out' across other sites, said Wilkinson.
