Why you should buy it:

Mark Lyddy, Tilda’s Head of Foodservice, said: “Sales of Tilda Basmati & Wild Rice have been rising for some time, as more caterers see for themselves that adding this style of rice is a simple way to add quality to the menu and increase their GP’s, allowing them to reflect the premium eating experience it delivers in terms of their pricing.

“This is largely due to an on-going, successful nationwide sampling campaign introducing more caterers to the benefits of Tilda Basmati & Wild, driving increased demand which we expect will gather pace during 2013.

“We want to encourage more caterers to reflect increasing demand for this exotic style of rice which has already made a big impact with consumers – with more success to come.  These bigger packs will provide an opportunity for more caterers to serve this new rice experience – and see the business benefits for themselves.”

“More consumers are certainly getting a taste for this style of rice so now is the time for caterers to ensure they are meeting demand by offering it on their menus – because otherwise this rice eating revolution may pass them by.”
