Hospitality charity Springboard is inviting cycle-loving industry professionals the chance to form a team to take on a unique London to Paris bike ride challenge - between two Pullman hotels.

The Team Velo Challenge will see teams of four cyclists compete to become the first to ride from the Pullman Hotel London to the Pullman Hotel Paris in September.

Springboard has partnered with The Genuine Dining Company and Accor's Pullman Hotels to create the event in order to highlight the work of the charity and to raise funds for its youth programmes.

Anne Pierce, Springboard chief executive, said: "The Team Velo Challenge is an amazing opportunity for everyone that rises to the occasion and takes part. Events like this raise vital funds for the Springboard Charity and are essential in assisting us in helping young, unemployed and disadvantaged people improve their prospects with life-changing opportunities and sustainable employment in the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry."

It will cost £200 to enter the challenge and each team will be set a fundraising target of £2,000.
