Scottish world buffet restaurant group Cook & Indi has opened its fourth restaurant in Bishopbriggs on the outskirts of Glasgow and is already planning to continue its expansion further.

The company, which was founded by Cook Gill and Indi Singh, opened its fourth venue, a 300-cover site, earlier this year in the East Dunbartonshire town. However the expanding group is already planning its next opening which will launch in nearby Johnstone within six weeks and is hoping to open another site by the end of 2013.

"We’re delighted to serve up our revolutionary ‘world on a plate’ concept in Bishopbriggs," said Gill.

"The idea behind our world buffet is to bring together various cuisines from different parts of the world so that when families are dining out there’s no need for an argument about which restaurant to go to because we offer food to suit everyone’s tastes."

The latest opening has seen a few changes to the concept - a carvery and a kids section have been added to the restaurant which offers unlimited access to a variety of dishes across five cuisines for a fixed price, starting from £5.99. The Johnstone restaurant is also expected to feature a takeaway element.
