Mars Ice Cream has extended its range of products which are available to foodservice buyers with new ice creams launched under the Mars, Snickers and Galaxy chocolate brands.

Product details:

The company, part of US-based Mars Incorporated, has this year launched Mars and Snickers mini, Galaxy Almond and Mars Chocolate Core.

  • Mars Chocolate Core is the classic Mars Ice Cream bar with a dark chocolate-infused centre. The product is available in a six-pack multi-pack.
  • The 100ml Galaxy Almond features a dairy vanilla centre surrounded by Galaxy chocolate which is then coated in almonds.
  • Mars and Snickers minis come in 10-packs of 25ml ice creams - mini versions of the Mars and Snickers bars. The brands are the first and second-best selling ice cream bars.

Part of Mars Chocolate, Mars Ice Cream has been in operation for more than twenty years.

The Mars Ice Cream UK team is based in Slough at Mars UK’s headquarters. The Mars Ice Cream portfolio includes world-famous brands such as Mars, Snickers, Twix (which won Product of the Year last year), Bounty, Galaxy M&M's, MilkyWay, Magic Stars and Starburst Smoothies.

The entire Mars Ice Cream range is available to foodservice buyers from wholesale provider Bookers.

Why should you buy it?

Mars Ice Cream has this week announced it has gained over 328,000 more buyers in the last year as a result of its new products and its increased distribution.

James Hay, senior brand manager for Mars Ice Cream, said: “As the summer days start to get hotter, consumers will be looking to enjoy more ice cream. Mars Ice Cream offer consumer favourites in both single and multi-pack formats, appealing to the impulsive nature of ice cream bar purchases.

"We are committed to growing the category in 2013, and are particularly excited about our new innovation this year."
