The British Institute of Innkeeping (BII) has confirmed it is to partner with CPL Training on a range of new industry training initiatives.

The new partnership will see the two education and training organisations collaborate on new qualifications, e-learning platforms and educational aids beginning with a licensing course handbook for Scottish licenses.

“In partnership with CPL I am delighted to be unveiling this course handbook for Scottish Personal Licence Holders, which is the first in a number of collaborations between our two organisations,” said BII chief executive Tim Hulme.

“As leading providers of professional qualifications and training, the alliance will deliver huge benefits to our industry, so it’s an exciting development for all,” he added.

The next project is expected to be an e-learning platform for BII's Pre-Entry Awareness Training programme, PEAT, which is mandatory for those wishing to take on a lease or tenancy.
