Hobart has launched a new GC compact glasswasher series which the warewashing specialist claims is the ‘most economical glasswasher on the market’.

With water consumption of 1.9 litres per cycle, the GC Series uses less detergent and rinse aid, and an ‘intelligent’ Integral Soil Sensor adjusts the rinse consumption depending on soil levels in the wash tank.

One feature particularly relevant to smaller outlets such as bars and bistros, where equipment is often installed under-the-counter close to guests, is ‘Soft Start Protection’. This reduces the noise emission from the machine at a stroke, and prevents shock to glasses at the beginning of the cycle.

USP:

Ease of use is top of mind with the new glasswasher. Visiotronic single button control makes for simple programming and adjustment – when the display is activated by a proximity sensor, all the necessary information appears in the large display, in clear text or in the form of easy-to-understand symbols.

Cleaning is also made even simpler with the addition of new clip-in wash and rinse arms designed for removal without the use of tools. A brand new USB-interface allows operational data (cycles, water consumption and failures) to be transferred onto a USB stick and then to a PC.

Availability:

The GC Series is available to all UK hospitality businesses now. Operators wanting to take advantage of Hobart’s new GC Series should visit www.hobartuk.com or telephone 0844 888 7777 for more information.

Why you should buy it:

“The innovative new GC is ideal for outlets with less space, who still want consistent, top-quality cleaning performance underpinned by the renowned reliability, energy efficiency and build quality associated with the Hobart name,” said Tim Bender, the UK sales director of Warewashing at Hobart UK.

“We understand acutely that requirements can change from site to site, and that practicality and ease of use are core considerations,  which is why we strive to offer such a comprehensive range to suit operators of all sizes.

The new GC is a natural addition to the arsenal of small to mid-size businesses across the land keen to benefit from marked savings.”

More information:

The arrival of the updated GC Series follows the launch of Hobart’s FX undercounter and GX glasswasher machinesearlier this year. The GC Series shares some of the technology and features of the FX and GX models but is more compact having rack dimensions of 400mm x 400mm with an installation height of 700mm.
