The company is spending £500,000 on the 80-cover restaurant, which will offer a wide choice of American diner-style meals including burgers, ribs, rotisserie chicken, wraps, fries and sides. It follows a site in the Whiteley Shopping Centre in Fareham, which opened in May.
“I’m confident that the new Dean’s Diner will prove popular with people of all ages,” said Richoux Group’s managing director Ed Standring.
“Our most recent opening at Whiteley Shopping Centre has been an outstanding success and we are looking forward to the same level of success at Pioneer Square.”
The Bicester restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, also offering takeaway. Other Dean’s Diner outlets are in Port Solent, Chatham and Braintree.
Richoux, which operates other venues under the Richoux, Zippers and Villagio brands, made a net profit of £0.88m in the year to 30 December 2012 during which time its turnover also increased - up 9.4 per cent on the previous year.
