The half-day event, being held at the Charlotte Street Hotel in London’s Fitzrovia on Tuesday 17 September, aims to arm and inform restaurant operators for the digital future.
The forum will discuss the wide-ranging innovations that can be harnessed by the restaurant sector, from the developments being made by search and social-media platforms such as Google, Facebook and Twitter, and restaurant apps, to the latest self-serve ordering systems and payment methods.
Speakers at the forum include Susanne Currid, founder of digital marketing and social-media consultancy The Loop; Sam Trainor-Buckingham, marketing director at hotel and restaurant consultancy Ignite Hospitality; Cardlytics’ head of international Jason Brooks and commercial director Jill Dougan; and Nick Chambers, UK managing director at mobile loyalty company Stampfeet.
There will also be a panel discussion entitled ‘Digital innovation at work – an operator’s perspective’ featuring Neil Lambert, head of marketing at Pizza Express, Gavin Adair, head of development at Wahaca and Phil Sermon, managing director at Vapiano.
