British Sausage Week: Bisto searches for the perfect sausage and gravy

Caterers from across the UK are being encouraged to ‘add some sizzle’ to their menus and celebrate British Sausage Week, running from 4-10 November. 

To support the event, gravy brand Bisto is searching to find the best regional sausage and gravy recipe using their product, rewarding the most innovative creations across the country with iPad Minis.

Mark Rigby, executive chef at Premier Foods, which owns the Bisto brand, said: “We are proud to be supporting British Sausage Week; it is a great opportunity for caterers to showcase their skills and attract new customers. As the current number one consumer choice for gravy, Bisto delivers a taste that customers recognise and love, in and out of home.”

All entries submitted will be judged by Rigby, who will be looking for attention to detail, originality and the quality of the overall dish.
