Brindisa Spanish Foods, sister company to Brindisa Tapas Kitchens, is launching a new bar and shop in Brixton this autumn.

Brindisa Food Rooms will be a ‘culmination’ of what Brindisa already offers at Borough Market, with the bar and shop set up under two railway arches around the corner from Brixton Market.

“I couldn’t think of a better way to place these crafted foods centre-stage in such a pure and simple way,” said Brindisa’s founder, Monika Linton.

The majority of the ingredients found on the bar’s menu will be on sale in the shop next door, with a few new suppliers added to the mix.

Goats’ milk cheese, basque salt cod and varying cuts of fresh Iberico meat will be on offer, along with rotisserie chicken, fresh fruit and vegetables direct from Barcelona, and loose ingredients such as beans, pulses and rices.

Brindisa Food rooms opens late November at 41-43 Atlantic Road in Brixton.
