Fergus O'Donovan, general manager, Radisson Blu Waterfront
The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has appointed Fergus O’Donovan as the general manager of the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel in Jersey.
O'Donovan has a solid background in the hospitality industry, spanning 30 years. Having studied in Ireland, he learnt the trade working in various positions within hotels across the UK and Ireland. In 1996, he was appointed as operations manager of the Bosworth Hall Hotel in Warwickshire. In 1999 he joined the Goddard Arms Hotel in Swindon before moving to the Rutland Square hotel in Nottingham in 2001.
He then joined Rezidor in 2007 as general manager of the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa in Sligo and was most recently working as the acting general manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel, London Stansted Airport.
