The search is on to find the best students, trainees and managers in the hospitality industry as the 75th annual Institute of Hospitality Awards are now open for entries.

The Awards will include three categories: The Highest Achieving Student or Trainee Award; The Outstanding Leadership Award; and The Innovation in Management Award.

The winners will then be announced at a Gala Dinner on 20 November at the Westbury Hotel in Mayfair.

The prize for the Highest Achieving Student or Trainee Award is a unique career development opportunity, donated by hotel booking optimisation firm Avvio. The winner will spend two weeks at Avvio's HQ in Limerick, learning with the digital marketing and revenue management teams.

"Avvio is delighted to be providing this prize," said the group's co-founder Frank Reeves. "It is crucial in these challenging times that our industry works to provide valuable training and experience to tomorrow's leaders."

Many other prizes have been generously donated to support the Awards, including The Goring (dinner, bed and breakfast), The Savoy (lunch or dinner for two) and Halkin by COMO (dinner for two at Ametsa).

The entry process requires a statement of why you should be considered for an award (maximum 250 words), plus a reference from a manager, mentor or lecturer. For further details and to enter, click here.
