Polpo Ltd, the London based restaurant group led by Russell Norman and Richard Beatty, has secured the All Bar One site in London’s Notting Hill Gate for an opening next year.

According to BigHospitality's sister publication M&C Report, it is thought that the group, which will open new venture Ape & Bird in Shaftesbury Avenue next month, will open the largest site under its Polpo brand on the c4,500sq ft site, with an opening scheduled for next March/April.

The group currently has eight sites either operating or in development, including three Polpos in London and a development site in Walker’s Court, Soho.

The company is on target to report £8m turnover for the end of 2013.

Set up in 2009, Polpo has transformed from one small eatery into a business that boasts eponymous bistros in Covent Garden, Soho and Smithfield.

CWM is understood to have acted for William Pears on the Notting Hill Gate site and Coleman Dean for Polpo.
