Pub operator Whiting & Hammond has launched a new range of loyalty cards for customers and staff across all seven of its sites.

The customer loyalty card, which has been developed with the group’s EPoS provider Zonal, allows pub-goers to collect points each time they visit, which can be used to get money off future purchases.

Whiting & Hammond’s managing director Brian Whiting explained that he hopes the card will encourage repeat custom across all of the group’s venues.

“It's become very obvious that we have a great band of loyal customers who enjoy travelling to our different sites, quite often comparing them against each other,” he said.

“We thought this was a great opportunity not only to reward our loyal customers but add an incentive for them making the effort of visiting a Whiting and Hammond site on their journey.”

Stuart McLean, managing director of Zonal, added: “The Whiting & Hammond ethos has always been to deliver excellent customer service and superb food offerings throughout their estate.

“It’s easy to see why Whiting and Hammond have a great reputation and customers keep returning. I look forward to continuing to work with them and supporting their business needs and growth in the future. “

Whiting & Hammond has also launched a staff loyalty card, giving its 300-plus employees a 20 per cent discount at all pubs.
