Andrew McPherson, general manager, Titchwell Manor
Titchwell Manor Hotel and Restaurants has appointed Andrew McPherson as its new general manager.
Previously director of Norfolk pub The Hoste, McPherson replaces the hotel’s long-standing general manager Mark Dobby, who has moved on to new challenges after over 10 years of service.
He brings with him experience from both front-of-house management and from behind the stoves. Having started his career as a chef in Australia, McPherson spent over 20 years at The Hoste as both head chef and then subsequently front-of-house in his role as general manager.
“I’m thrilled to join the team at Titchwell Manor," he said. "Having spent over 20 happy years at The Hoste, I felt it was time to explore new pastures and take up a new challenge.
"As well as offering boutique accommodation and exquisite food, the hotel has an exciting calendar of events including its Supper Club held every other month and its fantastic Summer Fete – I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in."
Eric Snaith, head chef and co-owner of the hotel, added: “We’re over the moon that Andrew has joined us. We share the same passion and vision, for Norfolk as well as the hospitality business, and we’re looking forward to working together to make Titchwell Manor even better.”
