Atlantic Foods says its new range of super-hot chili sauces are guaranteed to raise the temperature of any meal.

Product details:

The Chipotle, Habanero and Jalapeno sauces are designed to add a kick to chicken wings, burgers and seafood. Chipotle brings a smoky flavour, Habanero has a fruity heat, while Jalapeno comes with a zesty zing.

USP:

Atlantic is adamant that they are ‘super hot’ sauces. Over the last few years there has been a growing trend towards hotter, spicier sauces in the retail market, and this is now finding its way into foodservice.

Cost:

The 500cl bottles come in cases of six, priced at £7 per case.

Why you should buy it:

All three can be used to liven up chicken and beef, or as a simple dip to give a pop to finger foods. Alternatively, they can be mixed with mayo to create a spicy seafood cocktail base.

More information:

Atlantic has also introduced two other sauces – a ‘more traditional yet fiery’ Mustard Mayo and an Apple Barbeque sauce. The producer said they are perfect accompaniments to its new smoky BBQ hot dog sausages, meaning caterers now have all the ingredients they need to meet one of the country’s fast growing food trends.
